Strawberry Jam w/ Sea Moss Gel
1 pint strawberries
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 cup sea moss gel
3 Tablespoons honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
Rinse the strawberries and add to a pot. Stir the strawberries on medium heat until the liquid begins to release.
Mash the strawberries with a potato masher or fork.
Add honey, lime juice, brown sugar, and sea moss gel.
Stir until it starts to thicken and remove from heat.
Allow to cool for 15 min.
Blend the jam in a blender to get the texture that you desire. Spread the jam on biscuits, toast, waffles, pancakes or PB & J sandwich.
Storing Jam- make sure your lid is closed tight on the mason jar. It will store well in the refrigerator for 1 week and in the freezer for 2 months.
Be sure to put a date on the jam and DO NOT store at room temperature.
